Emma Lokko, Head of Market Structure, Susquehanna in Europe,

Emma Lokko is the Head of Market Structure for Susquehanna in Europe, a leading global market making firm with its European headquarters in Ireland.

She is responsible for advocating for market structural change in EU financial markets and has over 30 years of experience in global financial markets having worked across all areas of the trading lifecycle from front to middle & back-office in the US, UK and Europe.

She is an appointed member of ESMA’s Securities and Markets Stakeholder Group (SMSG), vice-chair of the European Principal Traders Association (EPTA) and co-chair of the FIX Trading Community’s ETF Working Group.

James Baugh, Managing Director, Head of European Market Structure, TD Securities

James joined TD Execution Services in 2021 as Head of European Market Structure and has been instrumental in helping to develop its liquidity strategy. Prior to this, he spent five years at Citi as European Head of Market Structure and 11 years at London Stock Exchange, where as Head of Equity Sales he was directly responsible for initiatives like Turquoise Plato Block Discovery. As a graduate of Newcastle University, Baugh began his career as a commodity analyst before spending the next six years at Dow Jones in a variety of roles including the management of their European Power Index business.

Magnus Liljeqvist, Business Development for Savings & Pension within Handelsbanken, using over two decades of experience in the banking sector. Started his career after university at Swedens first online trading platform NetTrade. Spent more than 10 years structuring and selling ETPs and structured products before transitioning to Handelsbanken’s business development division. Since almost seven years driving digitalization initiatives aimed at improving the offering of funds and equities for both retail and private banking clients.

Olof Werneman, Deputy Head of Global Equity at Svenska Handelsbanken. Prior to his current role he was Head of Equities & Commodities Trading and has over 15 years of experience from market making, product development, quantitative finance, risk management, regulatory implementations, IT and business development.

Trevor Mallinson is Global Head of Bloomberg’s Electronic Rates Trading business. During his time at Bloomberg he has led the development and deployment of Bloomberg’s Multilateral Trading Facility alongside Fixed Income Trading Venues in the US, Japan and Singapore. He has also led the Market Structure team for the firm’s trading business and worked closely on MiFIDII.

Prior to his time at Bloomberg, Trevor worked in the Fixed Income businesses of Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan. He is a member of the FCA’s Secondary Markets Advisory Committee and is a graduate of The London School of Economics.

Julie Zhou, Head of Continental EU Sales for Cash Equities at Cboe Europe

Julie is Head of Continental EU sales for Cash Equities at Cboe Europe, which operates the largest pan-European equities exchange by market share and value-traded, the largest pan-European equity trade reporting services, as well as low-cost European equity market data and benchmark equity trade indices. She is responsible for client relationship management and business development in continental Europe and is also a member of the management team for Cboe NL, Cboe’s Amsterdam-based exchange.

Prior to joining Cboe, Ms. Zhou was an Account Manager for MSCI, covering its Hedge Funds and Broker Dealer clients. She began her financial services career with Thomson Reuters on the graduate programme, including roles as a business development manager, strategy analyst and in its enterprise solutions division. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Tsinghua University in China.
